We here at TWA truly believe we can operate with a win, win, win, wine philosophy. The Member Only Events are our opportunity to to say Thank You to our members, but it is also our opportunity to say Thank You to our sales reps. What is the best way to thank a sales rep? We believe it is to help sell wine for them. So for the Member Only Events members have the chance to try a lot of wines, talk to the sales reps, and buy wines at event only pricing.
Tuesday Tastings
Exclusive retail pricing
Our retail pricing philosophy.
We want to make it easy for you to think about buying wine from The Wine Authority.
When we initially price wine we use wine-searcher.com and we "meet" the lowest price in North Texas with two caveats.
If something is priced at $14.99 or $14.97 we will be priced at $15.
We keep our wine prices steady and only adjust them when our own costs change. With so many wines on our shelves, this lets us stay consistent instead of chasing price changes bottle by bottle.
Our member prices are set according to what we pay for each individual wine, not by applying a fixed percentage discount across our selection. Because purchase costs vary from wine to wine, the savings on each bottle will vary as well. For example, one wine with a $50 retail price may carry a $49 member price, while another $50 wine may be offered to members at $38.
Our goal is simple: to offer excellent wines at the best prices we can, for every guest who walks through our doors. Unless our cost on a wine changes, its retail and member prices will remain the same.
Member Only Events
Every Tuesday we have a new lineup of wines to try, this Tasting is included in the membership fee.
